    College Grants 

    The student grant is the main source of financial help available from the Irish State for students in full-time Post Leaving Certificate Courses (PLCs) and full-time higher education undergraduate courses. The government grant can be applied for at www.studentfinance.ie by completing the SUSI on-line application form. SUSI or Student Universal Support Ireland has replaced the old system whereby students applied for the grant through their local VEC or County/City Council.

    The Partnership will be holding application workshops whereby participants will complete their on-line application to SUSI. Early applications will be rewarded with earlier payment so it is well worth starting the process even before the student knows the course they will be taking and SUSI encourages this.
