The service commenced in Feb 2004.

The Ballyfermot Partnership Co Ltd. has secured funding under the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme for the provision of small grants to new enterprises. The Ballyfermot Enterprise Support Team was established to provide support and advice to prospective entrepreneurs and also to promote awareness of enterprise within the local community.
