The need for this report is linked with the Government’s cohesion process which began in 2003. Under this process the Ballyfermot Partnership was asked to extend its boundary to cover the Chapelizod area and with this in mind the Ballyfermot Partnership commissioned this needs analysis of the Chapelizod area.
This document provides a much needed area profile of Chapelizod; it charts existing community resources, identifies social inclusion needs and recommends courses of action for the Partnership in the area.
